Interlude 2

Posted: October 10, 2011 in Uncategorized

So essentially when you see the title “interlude”, it means I’m going to the Psalms, and the chapter I’m in corresponds to the number of the interlude. Thus, I am in Psalm 2, and after reading it I have a confession to make:

Sometimes I’m scared of God. I get scared of God when I read about His hatred against sin. Not just sin, though. In ways I cannot grasp, though the embodiment of love, God also hates. People. We’ll get there in three more interludes.

I’m not a huge fan of this feeling, and yet “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.” Maybe I’m on the right track. But it ain’t so much fun.
