Mark Fifteen: Why?

Posted: September 26, 2011 in Mark

Some days I have more questions than answers. Today is one of those days. One of the greatest questions in Christendom is why Jesus would die for sinners. Paul tells us in Romans five that Christ died for us as a demonstration of God’s love, and Jesus told us in John 3:16 that love was the basis for his coming death…but what motivated God to love us in the first place?

Was it something we earned? Something we deserve? Couldn’t be.

Know something, though? I’m ok with not knowing why God loves me. I’m just glad He does.
